Bala, the second-largest oral health provider in the United States, said the death toll in its latest crisis was 1,534 people.
The deaths have been a problem at the hospital in Bala since last month, according to the Associated Press.
The hospital said on Wednesday it has reached the limit of its capacity and was preparing for a lockdown.
“We will be able to continue our operations and the staff is working very hard,” said Dr. Paul Mazzano, a hospital spokesman.
Bala was founded in 1896 by the family of a German doctor.
The organization has since grown and diversified.
Its network of clinics includes inpatient care and outpatient dental care.
