When is Oral Health Medicine a Good Idea?

Csu Oral Health Foundation’s Oral Health curriculum, designed to equip students to practise oral health and oral health awareness in the classroom, has been hailed as a success.

The first class of oral health students has begun.

In its first year, the curriculum has been praised for the number of students it has trained, its quality of content, and its effectiveness in promoting oral health knowledge and practice in the community.

“We’re really proud of this and it’s a really big step forward for us,” Dr Tim Naughton, a lecturer in oral health education at the University of Sydney, said.

A few of the students will be going on to graduate from the curriculum next year.

But Dr Naughson said there was one thing that frustrated him.

He said he believed students had learned enough about oral health to be able to practise, but he felt the curriculum didn’t provide enough information about oral healthcare.

Dr Naughman said the curriculum was designed to help students understand oral health concepts and practices.

It also provides the students with an idea of what it is to be an oral health educator.

As a student, you’ll be able explore oral health through the learning of how to communicate with people, the proper way to introduce patients, how to take care of their mouths, and what to do when they have an infection, he said.

“I think that’s the most important thing we have in the curriculum is a real understanding of the relationship between oral health practitioners and patients, and we’re really aiming to be that way,” he said
